With the critical situation of COVID-19 and the subsequent announcement of Movement Control Order (MCO) by our prime minister on 16 March 2020, which takes effect from 18 to 31 March and then extended to 12 May, most of the local SME businesses, especially for those in the retails, hotel and tourism, manufacturing, F&B, property, have been struggling financially and even prepared for the worst - go out of business/ bankrupt.
While some rakyats complained and whined being “left out”, we realized we can only rely on ourselves to take action and remedy the situation.
Let us all come together as Malaysians, put racial and political issues aside and support each other’s business as our priority. You may not like how the country is being run, but don’t let it cloud your love for Malaysia, a place where you were born and raised.
